Legally Blind

Every one of my professors this semester has now argued, at one time or another, that "the law" is but a fig leaf or facade constructed to mask deep inequities in America.

In case you were wondering, the Federal Rules of Evidence are an example of special interest legislation gone wild, administrative agencies are essentially free from meaningful judicial review, welfare rules simultaneously incentivize sloth and fail to elevate needy families to the poverty level, and the the logic of "one person, one vote" equal protection has largely contributed to both parties ruthlessly gerrymandering 80% of House Seats out of an competitive electoral process.
